Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia

Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia is based on Banchina Santa Lucia, at Borgo Marinari, and has been active in sailing and rowing since 1893. Founded as Circolo Canottieri Sebezia, it received the title of Royal Club in 1900; in 1960 it was the headquarters of the Olympic sailing events in Naples, and in 2002 CONI awarded it the Gold Collar for sporting merit. It took part in the America's Cup with Mascalzone Latino; its athlete Matteo Castaldo won Olympic bronze at Rio 2016. The clubhouse includes a restaurant, bar, terrace, gym, sauna and library, with moorings on the quay (VHF 74). It organises regattas such as the Trofeo Marcello Campobasso and sailing, windsurf and wingfoil courses from age six, as well as rowing.
